GMDA Acquisition clears major hurdles for Gurugram
Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), has finally acquired 5.9 acres of land parcel. Resolving a long stalled construction of roads between sector 71 and sector 73.
The crucial stretch of 350 meters of road connecting Southern peripheral road (SPR) to Hero Honda Chowk and Shubhash Chowk which were on hold due to some unresolved disputes, have now come to be cleared. Cities most heavily used intersections and roadwork constructions, will be prioritised.
Major Breakthrough for Gurugam Residents
With GMDA officially taking possession of the disputed land, the new development is expected to ease the traffic congestion. GMDA is actively working to keep pace with Gurugram’s Infrastructure demands.
GMDA has officially stated that, “ With the possession of this land, we will now take up the construction to complete the missing portion between sector 71 and sector 73. Once completed, it will improve the connectivity in other sectors”.

Local Residents have welcomed this news with optimism
The development promises advanced infrastructure, the completion of Sector 71- Sector 73 will ease traffic on alternate routes like Behrampur road. Residents can expect smoother commute routes, reduced congestions and direct connectivity.
One of the Residents of CHD Avenue, Vaibhav Chauhan said, “ It will be beneficial for the residents , as we finally get a proper sector road. At the moment we are using the Behrampur road which is congested and frequently snarled with traffic. This has been a long pending demand”.
With the lead of GMDA the connectivity will be enhanced between Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.
